The SLM 280 HL generative laser melting system provides a build envelope of 280 x 280 x 350 mm and a unique dual beam technology. The SLM 280 HL does without the F-Theta optics and relies on a 3-D scan optics. The (laser) beam profile is thus improved and the component quality is significantly higher. The highest quality lenses are used for the internal beam path in the optical area. The SLM 280 HL operates with a 400 watt fibre laser - or a 1000 watt fibre laser on request. Together with the patented safety filter system in conjunction with the efficient protective gas circulation with laminar flow and low gas consumption as well as the patented bidirectional loader movement, the SLM 280 HL convinces in continuous production use with optimal process conditions for the highest and most consistent build quality.
